Job Description
Monolith Technologies (http://monolith.asia), as a media technology communication and training company having its offices across the Asia Pacific Region, is seeking an Audio Visual Tech Consultant, in supporting one of our large multinational clients.
The ideal person should deliver all aspects of technical support for corporate information technology, audio visual, video conferencing and multi-purpose audio visual control facilities across all areas including troubleshooting, maintenance, system updates, service coordination, and service reports.
Work schedules can fluctuate on a weekly basis, and the candidate may be required to work some evenings, weekends, and national holidays to support the team.
This will be a 3-month contract, on-site in Singapore.

Responsibilities
Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, monitoring, testing, and repair of complex networked AV equipment and control systems.
Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to keep AV systems in optimal condition. This includes tasks like cleaning, firmware/software updates, calibration, cable management and management of end-of-life reports.
Provide technical support during events, meetings, and presentations. This involves setting up and configuring AV systems, ensuring proper connectivity, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
Manage AV service vendors and integrators to ensure projects and support are delivered as defined.
Provide training and materials to users on the effective use of AV technologies and maintain documentation such as as-built drawings and service records.
Monitor usage and capacity of AV systems and identify opportunities to improve and enhance services.
Collaborate with facilities management as required to keep the AV infrastructure tidy.
Qualifications
A degree or diploma in fields such as Multimedia, Audio Visual Technology, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred.
Have at least 5 years of experience in audio visual operations including engineering, live production, and AV systems for theatre and broadcasting.
Have a minimum of three years of providing direct technical support in audio visual services at event spaces, auditoriums, or complex multi-purpose facilities.
Demonstrate proficiency in audio reinforcement, video projection systems, basic telecommunications, and troubleshooting AV equipment.
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Project Management Professional (PMP), or other AV-related certifications, can be beneficial.
Provide break fix and systems repair services. Integration experience is a plus.
Provide service reports and conduct regular service reporting meetings.
Exhibit strong logistical and resource planning with excellent attention to detail.
Work on own initiative, be part of a team, take ownership, and be accountable.
Possess excellent interpersonal, time management, and customer relations skills.
Display professional communication skills.
Have the ability to work flexible hours.
