Job Description
Monolith India is looking to expand its Research team in Chennai and looking for passionate professionals active in Research and Multimedia domain. Candidates must be strong in: - Identifying the most suitable AI techniques (machine learning, deep learning etc.) for specific XR use cases. - Integrating AI models seamlessly within XR platforms, ensuring smooth operation and user experience.
Data Analysis and User Research:
- Analyse data collected from XR user interactions to understand user behaviour patterns and preferences.
- Identifying areas for improvement in AI-powered XR experiences based on user feedback and data insights.
- Conducting user testing and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different AI implementations within XR applications.
Identifying XR Applications and Market Trends:
- Researching emerging trends in AI and XR to discover new potential applications of these technologies.
- Identifying market opportunities for AI-powered XR solutions across various industries (e.g., healthcare training, education, gaming).
- Contributing to the development of future-proof XR experiences by anticipating user needs and technological advancements.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborating with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of AI integration within XR platforms.
- Work with designers to create user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly for AI-powered XR experiences.
- Communicating complex technical concepts related to AI and XR to non-technical stakeholders like product managers and executives.
- Contributing to the development of ethical guidelines for responsible AI integration within XR applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain new and existing XR applications using clean, performant, scalable code
- Debug complex problems
- Advocate for strong coding practices and web standards
- Conduct research and development of new XR technologies/concepts
- Adapt to middleware game engines like Unreal, Unity, etc.
- Work multi-functionally with other groups to build a common vision
- Translate wireframes and high-level designs into visual, functional components
- Develop prototypes to help iterate over various solutions
- Technical design, coding, and testing (unit, usability, and integration testing) of XR applications in accordance with business requirements and technical standards.

- Good communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Egoless attitude that welcomes feedback and criticism, and enjoys working in a collaborative, iterative, and agile process
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Viscom, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
